How does Clearlift work?
ClearLift uses a Pixel Q switch laser, which targets deeper levels of the skin to more traditional pixelated skin lasers. Short burst of light heat the face beneath the skin to break apart pigmentation, promote collagen regeneration in the dermis and improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Is Clear Lift safe?
Yes, Clear Lift laser skin rejuvenation is safe and effective. We use the Harmony XL Pro laser system which is industry leading technology and FDA approved. The laser skin rejuvenation process is only carried out by specially trained clinicians and requires prior consultation and a patch test to ensure safety and effectiveness.
What do I need to do before a Clear Lift treatment?
Before a Clear Lift treatment you will need to have had a skin laser consultation and patch test to ensure the treatment is suitable for you.
You will need to avoid artificial tanning for 3 weeks prior to treatment and minimise sun exposure in the weeks leading up to your treatment.
You will need to avoid using active ingredients such as retinol and salicylic acid (3 days) prior to treatment.
On the day of your treatment your skin should be free of make up, clean and dry.
What do I need to do after the treatment?
Clear Lift treatments have no downtime and you will be able to get back to your day straight after treatment. However it is very important to wear SPF 50 daily and avoid sun exposure in the weeks following treatment.
Does the laser break the skin?
No it does not. Clear Lift is a non invasive treatment that does not break or pierce the skin at all. The laser targets the deeper layers of the skin which is where the rejuvenation and collagen renewal takes place.
What is an alternative to skin rejuvenation?
Skin rejuvenation is suitable for most people however to treat deeper signs of ageing or scarring laser skin resurfacing may be a more effective treatment option.
Does Clear Lift hurt?
No, Clear Lift is a very gentle laser treatment that most people do not find painful.
Where is Aqua-Tox?
Your laser skin rejuvenation treatment will take place at our clinic in Hertford, Hertfordshire. We’re based at Foxholes Farm, just off the A10 and A414. There is lots of free parking, a farm shop and other local businesses on the farm site. We have clients who visit us from all over Hertfordshire & Essex as we are easily reachable by road and main train lines.
