After a vaginal delivery it is recommended that you wait at least 6 weeks and have had your first menstrual cycle before starting Emsella chair treatments. 

After a c-section it is advised that you wait 3-6 months and can sit up straight comfortably and unaided for 30 minutes before starting Emsella treatments.

We will tailor a treatment for you from your initial consultation with us. A single Emsella chair treatment for incontinence takes 30 minutes and we recommend a course of 6 sessions, scheduled twice a week to have maximal benefits. 

Results will vary from person to person but clinical studies have shown that the majority of Emsella chair users maintain the results 6 months after their treatment course. 

We recommend keeping an eye on your symptoms and booking a follow up consultation a few months after treatment if you feel you may benefit from additional sessions.
