Colon hydrotherapy, also known as colonic irrigation, is a safe and effective method of removing waste from the colon and stimulating peristalsis contractions.

As a qualified colon hydrotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work with clients and help them achieve their health goals through this holistic treatment.

What's Involved?

We offer a practical, hands-on 6 day training program that’s accredited by RICTAT (The International Register of Integrative Colon Hydrotherapists and Trainers) and highly regarded within the industry.

With our guidance, you’ll gain comprehensive skills which will set you on the path to becoming a colon hydrotherapist.

We’ll cover topics such as colon anatomy and physiology, correct equipment handling, and essential health and safety practices. We’ll also go through working with clients, and how to set up and market your new business.

Natalie attended her first colonics many years ago to relieve IBS and lack of bowel movements. After years of being laxative dependent, colon hydrotherapy allowed her colon to function properly again, she was no longer constipated, her headaches had disappeared and her energy levels rocketed.

The benefits made Natalie realise that her dream would be to help and educate others on the importance of a healthy colon; the key to maintaining good health, well-being and vitality. After working in an office in the same job for 16 years, the opportunity of setting up business she formed Aqua-Tox, pursuing her new career as a colon hydrotherapist.

Natalie has also been working as a RICTAT board member for many years now, continuing her interests in the colonic industry and development for her profession.

Colon Hydrotherapy Training FAQs

Once you have an Anatomy & Physiology Level 4, you will complete a pre-study online course prior to 2 days of theory training online, and 6 days practical training at our clinic in Hertfordshire.

Your training will be conducted at our clinic in Hertfordshire: Aqua-Tox Wellness Clinic, Foxholes Farm, London Road, Hertford, Hertfordshire. SG13 7NT.

During your six day practical training you will complete a minimum of 12 case studies in clinic and follow up with a further 3 treatments during a booster day between qualification and business start-up. After the practical students will complete a written exam and submit their case study portfolio.

After your training you will need to complete the final examination and accreditation, activate your RICTAT membership, before you can start working as a colon hydrotherapist.

Yes, Natalie, your trainer is accredited with RICTAT – The International Register of Integrative Colon Hydrotherapists and Trainers. Natalie has also been working as a RICTAT board member for many years now.

Yes, our training programme is authorised and approved by RICTAT. As a qualified RICTAT trainer, Natalie can teach the RICTAT core curriculum and colon hydrotherapy.

The cost of the colon hydrotherapy course is £3,000 (this includes registration with RICTAT for three months) and all teaching, practicals, exams and accreditation - there are no hidden costs.
